Privacy Policy
How IEC Florida First Coast handles the information people give the chapter through this site, membership applications and apprentice enrollment.

Information we collect
The forms on this site collect only information you choose to give us. The notify form collects your email address only. The contact form collects your name, email address, and message, plus your phone number, company, and topic of interest if you provide them.
The apprentice application collects your name, email, phone, city and county, whether you work for an electrical contractor and who that is, your experience level, preferred class nights, veteran status if you choose to state it, and your confirmation that you meet the age and education requirements. The sponsorship form collects the company name, Florida license number, the contact person’s details, and the apprentice’s name and email. The membership application collects company details, the contact person’s details, license number, years in business, number of field employees and type of work. The document form collects your name, email, company and the file you upload.
None of these forms ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth or payment details, and you should not send them through this site.
How we use it
To respond to your message, and, if you signed up to be notified, to email you chapter announcements. Announcement email goes only to people who opted in, and every one carries an unsubscribe route. We do not sell or rent contact information.
Who we share it with
Form submissions are received and stored by Netlify, which hosts this site, and are read by the chapter office. Nobody else sees them.
Apprentices who enroll are registered with IEC National as part of the program. If the chapter adopts a member portal or an email service, this policy will name it before it is used.
Coursework is delivered through the IEC National curriculum site, which holds each apprentice’s name, email, assignments and quiz results.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and runs no tracking scripts. Traffic is measured server-side by Netlify Analytics, which counts requests without cookies or personal identifiers. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in the course of serving the font files, as any web request does.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from chapter email at any time, and you can ask for a copy of what we hold about you or ask us to delete it by writing to the address below. Form submissions are kept only as long as they are useful for organizing the chapter.
Children’s privacy
The apprenticeship is open to applicants 18 and older, and the chapter does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
